INDEX TO EVENTS ON THIS DATE (CLICK TO GO): JUL-19-2225 [BC] First accurate calendar (Egypt)
LOCATION:
Egypt
WHAT HAPPENED:
There was an accurate calender in Egypt over 4,000 years ago (4,221
years before our Era). This calender was based on the rise of Sirius
on this date around 2225 BC, known as the "First Tout,"
with annual cycles of more than 32,000 years.
RESEARCH NOTES: [TOP]
After careful consideration, we believe the year 2225 BC should really be 2253 BC. We base this on the idea that "our era"[1] means the year of the first printing of this book (1968) minus 4,221 which equals 2253 BC.
