WHAT HAPPENED:
Mrs. J. H. Curran (a true ghost
writer) met her writing source today while attending a seance using a
Ouija board. She placed her hands on the Ouija board and spelled out
Patience Worth.
Although Mrs. Curran was originally skeptical of mediums and spiritualism, over the next several years published many poems and stories she attributed to Patience Worth.
Her most famous novel, Telka, was set in medieval England and written in an obscure language of the day, A style Curran never studied.
