"Someone in Tulare Coun-ty knows the true identity of a man police say killed, raped, burglarized and struck fear into the lives of men and women across California for more than a dozen years, authorities say.

"Police are pleading for closure in the cold case, which has intrigued and stumped authorities for more than 35 years... "
