THIS DAY IN HISTORY (TDIH)
JAN-09 <<<< JAN-10 >>>> JAN-11
LOCATION:
Düsseldorf, Germany
WHAT HAPPENED:
A carpenter, while working on a roof in Düsseldorf, Germany,
died after being impaled by a shaft of ice that fell from the sky
today back in 1951. The shaft was reported to have been measured to
be six feet long and six inches in diameter.
RESEARCH NOTES:
There was only one paragraph in our first source[1]
that described this event, but it did include its own source, Frank
Edwards' "Strangest of All" (p344), and we are now in the process of
acquiring this book so we can see for ourselves what the original
source was that Edwards used.
We'll return back to this when we at least get or read the book mentioned above.
